Come Closer, Child

Here's yet another class piece...I honestly just have a big stockpile of them that I'm dashing out here and there, bear with me!

I've always had an intense fascination with the Fae folklore...The eerie, unpredictable nature of the non-Tinkerbelle fairies is so weird to think about, considering what we see when we think of fairies today! Leave it to the English and Irish to come up with some of the freakiest stuff...Take this lovely lady, for instance.

This is my interpretation of Jenny Greenteeth, the freaky swamp-lady that lies in wait beneath the depths of her little pond, ready to lure and catch unsuspecting children to eat up. Horrifying.  

There are a bajillion great interpretations of her out there, and I'd recommend checking them out! They're all gloriously disturbing, which is key when it comes to ol' Jenny!
